Constructing For Liberation

Constructivism is a new idea of literary theory, constructivism is against essentialism. Literary theory of essentialism was criticized by constructivist . So,why and how to construct a literary theory? This thesis is going to answer this question.This article is divided into two parts: the preamble and the body .The first part is the preamble.It says the purpose and significance of the study .The second part is the body divided into four chapters to be addressed. Chapter I is the overview of the status quo. The second chapter is the construction of literary theory of our times. China today is in social transformation , the old literary theory does not meet the requirements of the times has the need to be adjusted and re-constructed. Inchapter III ,the change of study of literary theory in object ,the study of literariness, the study of popular literature and Internet literature ,are also contributed to make the study of literary theory to be reconstructed. Chapter IV Literary Theory approach is literary criticism. Literary criticism is active, it makes literary theory continuously being constructed .
