Chinese Kunqu Opera and Western opear, respectively represent the Comprehensive expression of theater and music of the eastern and the western culture, these two ancient arts, respectively embodying the different aesthetic requirements of these two distinctive character cultures.In this day,that the world culture has been greatly merged and exanged, getting a better understanding of both highly representative art forms of Chinese Kunqu Opera and Western Opera, comparing the features, especially the different characteristics in the aesthetic and singing skills on the performance,would give a great significance and value for getting better oriental and occidental cultures especially the theater cultural exchanges, and promoting mutual learning and development of these two kinds of art forms." Kuei-men Tan " of Kunqu Dan line has shaped a lot of enduring characters in Kunqu Opera stage. Such as Du Liniang in "The Peony Pavilion", Concubine Yang in "Palace of Eternal Youth". While the Opera lyric soprano's singing was always used to build some mellow, delicate feelings characters too. Such as "embroidery woman" in "career artist", Liu Er "Turandot", and so on. Chinese Kunqu Opera and Italian bel canto vocal technique can be said the "classical singing" of Chinese and foreign vocal in the history , they all be brilliant in their respective stage for hundreds of years, and still evolving. In recent years, the singing vocal of Kunqu Opera also caused a lot of attentionss of oversea educators and research interests. But the domestic academic comparison of Kunqu Opera and Opera has remained mostly in the form of some contrast, general overview, lack a more systematic and comprehensive study.With a passion for these two kinds of arts, this article will focused on the confrontation of aesthetic aspects of performance and singing skills, from the soprano's point of view, use "more vocal learning" approach, compare the two kinds of singing of the Kunqu Opera's " Kuei-men Tan " singing with the Opera lyric soprano singing, to explore the essence and the similarities of these two sings, to provide more ideas and new concepts for the development of Chinese Voice, and strive to contribute more foe East-West cultural exchanges with limited knowledges.
