This paper starts from the classic aria Solitude, Degenerate, Solaperduta abbandonata from Manon Lescaut of Puccini, focusing on the singingfeatures and techniques of lyric soprano of drama, and carries outaesthetic treatment and performance approaches for the song. The papercan be divided into three parts.The first part mainly probes into and analyzes the background and theplot of Manon Lescaut.The second part makes a inductive introduction to the singing approachof lyric soprano from the angle of tone, changing point, applied register,register, type and resonance, sound character, typical role, worldnotable lyric soprano singer.The third part is the emphasis of the paper. It carries out aesthetictreatment and performance approaches for the classic aria Solitude,Degenerate, Sola perduta abbandonata from Manon Lescaut, meanwhile, itcombines the own performance of the author to carry out the analysis andtreatment of the content, tone, emotion, and the sentiment of the singer.This aria is a perfect combination of lyricism and dramaticism, whichposses not only the music style of lyricism, but also owns the strong musicline to present the power of drama, achieving a perfect integration oflyricism and dramaticism. The smooth and attractive melody provides soulshock and satisfaction.On the basis of large amount of data collection, this paper conductsa detailed analysis of this aria from the singing approach of lyric sopranoand the performance treatment of the work. It is hoped that through theauthor’s own understanding of this aria, this paper can providesignificant meaning to the research of vocal performance and lyric sopranofeatures, as well as making the works better. The paper also hopes tocontribute to a better understanding of the famous lyric soprano ofPuccini.
