Chinese Traditional Culture On The Impact Of Environmental Design Arts

With globalization of culture, of information, the structure of culture has been changed. Chinese traditional culture was also influenced by new thoughts and ideas. Double-way development of Globalization and localization is the major trends of the world culture. Traditional aesthetic standards and culture elements are back to modern fashion design and show great power in environmental design arts. It is necessary that representative culture elements are used in environmental design arts from local culture source. Once environmental design arts combine with advanced science, its progress is great in spirit.This paper reviews the development process of environmental design arts and introduces the basic characters of environmental design arts. Chinese traditional culture and its concepts were also mentioned in the paper. Though the cultures created by different races are varied because of different historical backgrounds and geographical conditions, these cultures are of individuation and developing. Chinese traditional cultures have great influence on environmental design arts. The typical elements of Chinese traditional culture affecting the people's life were introduced for explaining how Chinese traditional culture impacting environmental design arts. The development of environmental design arts was discussed in positive and negative with the influence of Chinese traditional culture. On this basis, the preliminary study of the environmental design arts trends in the future was mentioned.
