A main character in modern society is the formation of multi-culture. And that the relationship between culture and education is closely related and inter-depended like lips and teeth makes multicultural education emerge as the times require. University English is the main gateway for students to view the world and also is the means to have multicultural education. If the university English teachers want to have multicultural effectively they have to take reflective teaching. Since 1980s, reflective teaching rose vigorously in education field in the western developed countries and gradually influenced the teaching practice all over the world. Chinese introduced the thought of reflective teaching and made series of theoretical and practical studies. The thesis attempts to study on the basic contents of university English teachers'reflective teaching, the forms of reflective teaching and the ways for teachers'reflective teaching from the perspective of cultural diversity, in the hope of improving the teachers'practical knowledge and teachers'autonomous specialization. And the paper offers the tactics for operating in the developing the reflective teachers who adapt the characters of multicultural times and can have multicultural education effectively. The methods adopted in this paper include literature study, interview and case analyses.The introduction illustrates the causes of the study, the analysis of the study actual situation, the study methodology. In the main parts of the thesis, firstly the paper states the major features of reflective teaching, the relationship between multicultural education and college English teaching and status of the reflective teaching in college English teaching.Secondly, the paper states the basis contents of the college English teachers'reflective teaching from the perspective of cultural diversity, which provides the mark for teachers'reflection.Thirdly, it is the main shapes and technique for reflective teaching of teachers, which provides ways for college English teachers'teaching reflection.Fourthly, with the help of the concrete teaching cases, the author analyzed the implementation of reflective teaching in university. It provided guidance for the teachers'reflective teaching effectively.At last, the paper stated problems that exists in the stage of researching and makes imagination about the research hope of reflective teaching.
