On Mou Zongsan's"Self-negation Of Conscience"

Mou Zongsan is a very influential philosopher.He is an important representative of New Confucianism.Modern times,with the input of Western civilization,Confucianism has been a huge impact and declined slowly.Confucianism is to be retained or discarded,Wether Confucianism can adept to the need of social development,and Wether the Modernization of Confucianism can be achieved,these problems have been widely discussed in academic,and are more New-Confucianism can not avoid.Mou Zongsan was to solve this problem and proposed a new theory "self-negation of conscience",and the theory is to make the science and democracy on the base of the traditional moral. "self-negation of conscience" presents a creative solution ideas to the modernization of Confucianism .This article is divided into three: The fist chapter discusses the proposal of Mou Zongsan's "self-negation of conscience".Discusses the historical background of the "self-negation of conscience" and the put forward and developed process of "self-negation of conscience"theory.the second chapter reviews the theoretical framework of the "self-negation of conscience"."conscience" through "self-negation" from noumenon out the world of phenomena."self-negation of conscience" contacts the noumenon with the phenomenon. The third chapter discusses the agrument and views of some scholars after Mou Zongsan proposed his "self-negation of conscience".and simple evaluate the Mou's "self-negation of conscience" in the last.Mou's "self-negation of conscience" is not a perfect theory.some areas need further improvement. However, it are of great significance in the theoretical and practical aspects."self-negation of conscience" has deepened the discussion of the relationship between Chinese and Western cultures,has a great impact to the development of Confucianism,and has promoted the modernization of Confucianism.
