Commonness And Individuality Of Playing Methods Between The Chinese Bass Drum And The Snare Drum

This article takes research and analysis about the playing methods between a Chinese percussion instrument——Chinese bass drum and a western percussion instrument——snare drum, comparing the commonness and individuality on playing the Chinese bass drum and the snare drum. Simultaneously, according to research the skill of one-handed beating for snare drum, the skill has finally been learnt and applied on the Chinese percussion instrument, and I will also expound the importance of this skill in playing the snare drum and the necessity of combining with the Chinese bass drum for playing, thereby it makes the development about performing and teaching the percussion instrument to be effective and meaningful in the tradition inheriting and using for reference.
