Luciano Berio, Italian conductor and composer, was the representative figure in Italian avant-garde music, as well as one of the most influential musicians in modern music worldwide. He had not only demonstrated various composing styles and techniques covering different genres in his production but also explored and created methodologies in New Vocalism, which has been a great contribution to the music society. From historic background, connotation of the works, influence of the new timbre, to new vocalism techniques, the author studied and analyzed Berio's works in depth and tries to understand and present in her own words the composer's unique methodology and its significance.It primarily consists of four parts. After a brief introduction of this article's structure and general purposes and methodologies in music research, the first chapter mentions the composer's curriculum, the development and revolutions of new Vocalism and new Music, and the aspiration of his works. What in the second chapter are analytical researches addressing several key elements that have been applied in the works of "Circles", such as:the vocal, the instruments and the texture, through structure analysis and timbre analysis with samples of music books and vocal notes. Occupying the most pages of the chapter three, the author tries to explore the influence of new timbre music to the composer's works and the implications. Then, fellows the author's general evaluation of the composition techniques and their creations in chapter four, the last part is the conclusion of Berio's significant style and characteristic in the perspective of music analysis.
