The research on Communication Strategies abroad starts from 1970s and steps into a period of rapid development after 1980s. Communication Strategies are a series of measures taken by the second language learners to overcome the barrier of the spoken communication in the context of having limited knowledge about the second language, which is a part of language learner's communicative competence. Communication Strategies can not only guarantee the smooth exchange of learners and enhance their self-confidence of using the target language to communicate, but also be helpful to reduce learner's anxiety caused by lack of grammar and vocabulary and promote the second language acquisition. However, in the Osh State University of Kyrgyzstan, Spoken Chinese Communication Strategies have been ignored by the local Chinese teachers and learners also know little about this conception. So it has very important theoretical values and practical significance to carry out the research on Spoken Chinese Communication Strategies.Through adopting the method with a combination of qualitative and quantitative research and integrate such research ways as literature analysis, interviews, surveys, and questionnaires, this essay makes a survey at the present situation of the use of the Spoken Chinese Communication Strategies of the Chinese learners from the Osh State University of Kyrgyzstan. The researcher makes a comprehensive study at the second-language communicative strategies and uses the education statistics software SPSS 11.5 to process the data obtained from the questionnaire and analyze the result. At the same time, the researcher also has open talks with Chinese learners from different grades and makes analyses of the record of interviews. These researches are aimed at having a comprehensive understanding of the present situation of the use of the Chinese learners'Spoken Chinese Communication Strategies and the factors'impact on the use of the Spoken Chinese Communication Strategies, such as grade and gender.Through researches, the following conclusions are drawn(:1)The use frequency of the learners'overall strategies is in"sometimes use", in which the use frequency of achievement frequency is higher than the reduction. Be specific to some items, what learners use more are item11 and item 18.(2)Compared with the low-grade group of learners, the high-grade group of learners use more target-based strategy of the first sub-strategy, assistance strategy and the word coinage strategy , direct-assistance strategy, dictionary-searching strategy, semantic field strategy; use less function-reduction strategies of the second sub-strategy and topic avoidance strategy of the third sub-strategy.(3)The difference in gender has important impact on some communication strategies and the female use more item 17, item 20 than the male.Finally, the researcher puts forward four suggestions: First, enhance learners'consciousness of using communication strategies;Second, train Chinese teachers with communication strategies;Third,bring communication strategies into class teaching; Forth, promote the reform of the Chinese teaching materials and spoken Chinese test.
