Marxist philosophy is a unification of pursuing the truth of practice, achieving the excellence of practice and embodying the beauty of practice to perfection. Therefore, Marxist philosophy education should enable student to get to the core of authentic Marxist philosophy with the principle of truth, to have a good command of the theory in practice with the principle of excellence, as well as to evaluate the teaching level of the teachers with the principle of beauty, so as to enhance the art of teaching. However, with regard to embodying the beauty of practice, current Marxist philosophy education in China fails to adopt the aesthetic elements efficiently in the teaching practice, which in turn affects the effectiveness of Marxist philosophy education to a large extent. The endeavor of bringing aesthetic elements into full play in Marxist philosophy education aims at breaking away from and going beyond the external limitations and externalizing, enriching, realizing and promoting the intrinsic quality of human beings in a free, automatic and spontaneous way, and simultaneously, encouraging students to internalize Marxist philosophy and improving the effectiveness of Marxist philosophy education. Based on the above analysis, the paper focuses on the following aspects: the relevance between Marxist philosophy education and aesthetics, the adoption of aesthetic elements in existing Marxist philosophy education, and the content, approaches and methods of enhancing the"truth"with"beauty"in philosophy education.Apart from the introduction, this paper consists of three parts:Part One provides the basis for the author's viewpoint. The author attempts to define relevant concepts concerning the proposal and analyze the relevance between aesthetics and Marxist philosophy education from the perspective of aesthetic elements such as the aesthetic subject and aesthetic object in philosophy education. The author contends that in philosophy education, Marxist philosophy as the aesthetic object embodies the beauty of theoretical system and the beauty of precise thinking, which correspond with aesthetic values of seeking the trinity of truth, knowledge and beauty of contemporary college students.In Part two, on the basis of an analysis on the current Marxist philosophy education in China, the author draws a conclusion that due to the absence of aesthetic elements in philosophy education, there is a disassociation of philosophy and man, and a degeneration of philosophy quality of the educated. The reason mainly lies in the dogmatic interpretation of philosophical theories in philosophy education, which on the one hand lacks sincere commitment, and ignores the aesthetic elements in philosophy education on the other. Therefore, Marxist philosophy education ought to substitute the subjects'internal demands for external requirements, and attach great value to the critical role of affection in the development of world outlook, outlooks on life and values. To promote the educational effectiveness of Marxist philosophy education, it is necessary to introduce affective education organically to philosophy education.In Part Three, the author of this paper holds that Marxist philosophy education should inspire illuminate and enhance"truth"with"beauty". In essence, if aesthetic education elevates people's moral integrity by"maintaining goodness with beauty", then its function of promoting people's cultural qualities finds expression in"illuminating truth with beauty". Hence in Marxist philosophy education, aesthetic elements should be applied to the philosophical theory itself, the process of philosophy education and teaching methods, so as to arouse students'aesthetic affection for philosophy with aesthetic demands, and exert the benefits of coordinating and catalyzing philosophy education of aesthetic affection. In this way, students can achieve the state of"the integration of object and self"in the aesthetic experience of Marxist philosophy education.
