Research On Moral Value Of Personal Writing In Modern China

As a kind of inner latent power to restrain people's behavior, moral value is playing the more and more vital role in the modern complex and multiplex social life. General Secretary Hu Jintao once pointed out that,"Whether a society is harmonious and whether a nation is permanently peaceful depends to a great extent on ideological and ethical standards of all members. Without common ideal faith or good moral standard, the social harmony is unable to be realized."So, we can see that the restraint of social morality is indispensable to the building of the current harmonious society.Personal writing appeared in the 90's as a typical literature phenomenon. It reflects the moral value which has represented tendentiousness of today's society, namely the traditional Chinese social morals formed in five millenniums have been under various impacts, including the individualism, publicized individual privacy, dissimilation of affection, the indifference of interpersonal relationship and so on. The social morals have presented the unprecedented chaos. However, the new economical development situation and the multiplex pattern inevitably require the new moral values which can act in accordance with them. This article takes personal writing, the literature phenomenon, as an illustration to analyze the changing of the current social morals, thus discusses further the reframing of our current social morals under the new historical situations according to the development of present situation, specifically including the establishment of moral values characterized as altruistic and selfish win-win standard, the complementary of masculine and feminine elements and the harmonious development, and the viewpoint of the multi-dimensional harmonious interpersonal relationship in our society.This article is composed of three major parts, the introduction, the main text (altogether three chapters), and the conclusion. It analyses the social moral values from the three aspects as: value orientation, the female thinking and interpersonal view.In the introduction this article mainly introduces the purpose and the significance of this writing, sums up the relevant domestic and foreign literature and also summarizes the characteristics and writing logic of this article.The First Chapter "the Traditional Moral Values under the Accumulation of the Chinese Civilization"mainly summarizes the Chinese traditional moral values with a history of five millennium from the three aspects as: collective value orientation, the formidable strength of moral restraint and"the benevolence". The Second Chapter"the Impact of Personal Writing on Traditional Moral Values" mainly introduces the personal writing, this literature phenomenon, its background and definition, on which it emphatically analyzes the impacts of the values, the female thinking, the interpersonal view as well as the writing intention reflected in personal writing. It also discusses the changing of the current social moral values in the contrast with the Chinese traditional moral values in the previous chapter. The Third Chapter"Moral Ponder triggered by Personal Writing" is mainly inspired from the comparisons of the above several aspects which provides some simple opinions about the moral building of the present harmonious society.This article provides a final conclusion and summary in the Conclusion.In brief, this article cuts into from the literature angle to the ideological and political education. It expresses the moral values in the simple way, which makes people to understand and accept them easily, thus causes more people to understand the importance and urgency of the establishment of the contemporary social moral values.
