At present, there are a large variety of the published articles and research findings of accordion education. All kinds of advanced teaching ideas and practical measures have played a very important role in the accordion teaching. The rising of the amateur accordion-learning children has formed a certain scale since 1980s. In retrospect the history of nearly thirty years of the methods of teaching the amateur accordion-learning children, the traditional teaching mode has contributed a lot to it, which started from the initial teacher and student mentoring model by oral teaching that inspires true understanding and accumulated day by day and month by month. It is this generation after generation of children of learning instrumental music that becomes a new force in Chinese music enterprise. They cause the accordion teaching to step onto a standardized and scientific road gradually by inheriting and developing. However, in recent years, the accordion learning of children appears a lot of shortcomings and errors, which mainly displays in: children are targeted too early by choosing their future job occupations, and forced to learn and practice the accordion; the teaching methods are too utilitarian and monotone; the teaching concepts are rather extreme and learning has the tendency of commercialization, and so on. The above problems matter a lot in the accordion teaching for amateur children. Making a general survey of many articles about accordion teaching for children, we can find that a lot of researchers have done massive work in the study of accordion teaching by analyzing the techniques of accordion playing, music works themselves, teaching experiences, teaching ideas and teaching methods, and which has achieved remarkable success. But relatively speaking, the researches on problems of accordion educational thought and methods appear extremely rare. In fact, the educational thought and methods run through the whole accordion teaching and are such important issues that can not be ignored. Taking Chao Gang Art School of Lanzhou as an example, the dissertation mainly studies its accordion education, and it has better reference function of further improving the learning effect and quality by providing a more detailed research data for the amateur accordion-learning children. Meanwhile, new ideas and suggestions on present accordion education are proposed as well. The research puts up with a whole-new educational thought of accordion teaching from the perspective of thought of the accordion education in Chao Gang Art School. It is of great significance in instructing the students'learning more rationally, properly and effectively. The dissertation includes four chapters and fifteen sections, and it borrows the other related theories of disciplines from philosophy, physiology, pedagogy, thinking study and so forth by applying the ways of investigation, observation, documentary, analytical, and so on in its study of accordion education.
