Brief Study On Military Weapons Volumes Of Chinese Bamboo Slips Or Wooden Tablets And Weapons In Han Dynasty

Hexi district was the area where Han dynasty frequently fought the war with its strongest enemy梄iongnu, the ancient nationality in china, in other words, it was the most important frontier fortress in Han dynasty. Therefore, to study the military conditions about the area in the whole history of Han dynasty has the great significance. So far as the small aspect, the categories, names & the recorded conditions of the military weapons volumes in the Northwestern part of china were closely related to the management of those regulated by the frontier armies of the Northwest district; So far as the large aspect, it was so clear to be seen the regular system of the whole history of the Han dynasty. Thus, it is of great significance to study the military weapons volumes & weapons conditions of Northwestern frontier in Han dynasty. The paper is divided into 2 parts: Pa~t I: Arranging & restoring the military weapons volumes about the Juyan official site in zhangye prefecture, the armoury in Jianshui official site, the every marquis administered by them, beacons positions & Dunhuang prefecture, in accordance with the category of that time, categorizing all of the weapons volumes, inducing & summarizing the contents & characteristics of all kinds of the weapons volumes. On the basis of that, combined with the literature materials, demonstrating the production & management conditions of the weapons in Han dynasty. Part II: Based on the weapons reflected by the Chinese Bamboo lips or wooden tablets materials, combined with the literature materials & The archeological information, analyzing & demonstrating The form system, features, functions & the historical origins of all kinds of weapons, & making the reasonable analysis & proof on their equipment & using conditions for the armies in Han dynasty.
