A Study Of Dong Zhongshu's Theory Of Historical Development

Dong Thong Shu is a great thinker who livedin the XiHan Dynasty(B.C206-A.D23).On the light of Dong ,s theory of corresponding mutually between Heaven and man ,the Heaven is the basic of motive force of social development ,the Heaven and man promote the society forward in common ,the society developed from an orderly to an orderly ,in other words, "adhere to principles of truth and right " take the place of" without adhere to principles of truth and right" , the moving format of social development is cycle .but it is forward in essence .Although Dong,s theory of historical development is idealism theological ,we can learn something from it.
