Jiao Yulu-A good Example for the Secretaries, A Road to Wuji County and Kong Fansen-A good Cadre in Tibet are the three pieces of well-known reportages which cover the three periods of fifty-year history in New China. They have described the typical images of the members of the Party and the public servants in the second half of the twentieth century.Jiao Yulu, Liu Ri and Kong Fansen, the heroes in the reportages, took the self-investigation and people's difficulty as seriously, and sincerely helped them out. This has made the relationship between the Party and the people more intimate. They were also adept in detecting some advantages from the local existing conditions ,and attempted to make the economy develop faster. Nevertheless, they were always unselfish and lived a simple life. They were only deep in the work even when they became ill. They often paid much attention to the cultivation of the Party members in thoughts and qualities while reputation and promotion never appealed to them much.Living in different ages, Jiao Yulu, Liu Ri and Kong Fansen have possessed different characteristics. With natural disasters and relatively backward economy, Jiao Yulu depended on the people to make them live a better life in the light of being hard-working and industrious. Being a new cadre in 1980s, Liu Ri was determined to reform and initiate, and knew well that knowledge and talents are the most important factor for economic development. As a good cadre in Tibet, Kong Fansen, in about 1990s, carried out the Party's policy toward the minority nationalities very well and treated the Tibetans equally and kind-heartedly.Mu Qing, Hong Jia and Guo Baolin, the authors of the reportages, has focusedon the perfect combination between realness and specialization so as to cast the genuine and moved images. The stories described happened in the past, but the noble spirit of such public servants as Jiao Yulu, Liu Ri and Kong Fansen will have been left in the hearts of people forever. Nowadays with rapid economic development, some corruption has emerged, too. As for this, if we recall the great contributions the heroes did and then- spirit of serving people whole-heartedly, it must play a vitally important and warning part in the reality and have a well educational significance.
