The cultural industry is receiving more and more common concerns of the cultural and economic chicles. This paper, on the basis of observing all-sidedly the current situation of the Chongqing cultural industry development, has proposed from macroscopic the basic tram of thought of developing Chongqing cultural industry, and thinks that Chongqing should comply with the integrated advantages of economy and culture, hold the combination of cultural construction and economic development, give play to the advantages of human &cultural resources and cultural brand, foster and develop the pillar cultural industry taking the cultural entertainment, cultural tourism and cultural &natural science exhibition trades as focal points.Based on the practical experience and in light of both foreign and native theories in this field, the paper focuses on the present state of culture industry hi Chongqing.
