Discussion On Zhou Zuoren's Literary Thought

Zhou Zuoren(1885----1967), from Shaoxing, ZheJiangprovince, is an important writer and thinker in the history of Chinese current literature. When he was young, he received traditional education, then he sailed to Japan and accepted western countries' cultures and thoughts extensively.Zhou' s literary though is an inportant field of research mixed with deep aesthetic attitude and colossal contradiction crisis.From Christian culture, H·EEllis sex psychology and Japanese culture,I study the foreign cultural influence about his literatural thoughts and aesthetics.Zhou"s literature ideology has gone through the road from "human literature" to "individuality literatrue", from literary centre to margin. On the basis of development of his literatural thoughts,I study his literatural theory and aesthetic category about " human literature " , " individuality literature " , and discover his contribution to China's enlightment literatural theory ory 20th century.
