Determined by commercialization and market-orientation of cultural products, the emergence of cultural industry closely involves with the phased social economic development. The development of cultural industry relies on not only the market-based disposition of cultural resources but also restructuring government's cultural establishments that are supposed to be adaptable to the trends of market orientation and industrialization.From the macro perspectives of the study on science of cultural administration, the paper, first of all, dwells on an analysis of the theories and feasibility of cultural industrialization, highlighting the present cultural industrial development and innovation of cultural administrative establishments. The paper, then, proceeds with an overview on the characteristics of cultural industry development in western countries as well as a managing experience sum-up abroad, which provides theoretic basis for the analysis of current development of cultural industrialization in China and the malpractices in current cultural administrative establishments. Finally, the paper attempts to approach the challenges and opportunities that China's entry into WTO has brought to internal cultural industrialization, quite apart from how-toes concerning the innovations in questions under the framework of WTO.In the paper, the theme is explored through different perspectives namely from the theoretical analysis to practical contemplations, from exams on foreign experiences to analysis of domestic development as well as from objective studies on present conditions to outlooks into future studies. |
