This thesis is focused on Fujian Revolutionary Committee, investigates its process of founding^ splitting and dying, with emphasis being put on its establishment and mechanisms. Great efforts are made in analyzing its structure of power and ideological legacy. It is pointed out in this paper that the army led by Han Xianchu played a decisive role in the political power during the "three combinations "of Fujian Revolutionary Committee. The establishment of the Committee was the result of complete seizure of power. However, there also existed a long-term contradiction with the leadership of Fujian Province dating back to the founding of the People's Republic of China. It also reflected mass movements and factionalist conflicts. It is believed in this paper that although Fujian Revolutionary Committee has been a total failure, it is of great significance to make a thorough investigation and to draw a lesson from it so as to perfect the socialist political system of China. Morever, it is worth our while to explore and to reflect on the ideological legacy of Utopia.
