The foreign students' apparent errors of the Verb-objectLIHECI(离合词) are mostly represented as being not able to use theform of insertion, reduplication, inverting word order, omission andthe part of speech of LIHECI(离合词) correctly. An investigationshows that besides apparent errors, foreign students make someconcealed errors also. Another questionnaire shows that because theLIHECI(离合词) is a kind of structure between the two-syllablesverbs and Verb-object phrases, the errors of Verb-object LIHECI(离合词),two-syllables verbs, and Verb-object phrases are successively. Inanother word, there are some common grounds in the errors of thesedifferent grammar units. And these common grounds are interrelatedwith the characteristics of Chinese grammar. The main reasons of theerrors are the interference between languages, the interference of theaim language, the cultural interference, and the interference oflearning strategy. And the insufficiency of explanation is also animportant reason of the errors.
