Taking infants in the kindergarten established by Q Mosque in town of Linxia as subjects, and following the study method employed in the educational ethnography, the research focuses on the infant's intercourse characteristics among their peer within the Hui and influencing factors to the formation of these characteristics as well. The findings of the research mainly are:1. Characteristics among infants' peer intercourse of the Hui①The intercourse attitude of the infants are active, their mind-states are open, and they also turn out to be out-going and fond of associating with others.②In the associating activities, langue communication and action attacks take the first priority, and then common play. These three big themes take up 70% of the infants' whole intercourse activities. The last should be the claiming for things, coordinative instruction, sharing, grabbing things, helping and caring about each other, showing-off, showing hospitalities and exchanging objects.③Totally speaking, the rate of making use of sign language and sign language accompanying with langue in the activities among the Hui infants peer is higher than their langue communication by 32 percent. Compared to the infants' intercourse ways under the main- stream cultural background, the Hui infants in any age-group class use much more frequently sign language. ④Taken as a whole, the Hui infants are found of associating with peer of the same gender. What matters here is that the tendency appears to be more obvious among boys than among girls, who even show no striking trend in choosing the gender of their peer. And all the infants show a strong sense of belonging to gender groups in their out-door activities.⑤The intercourse themes, the intercourse ways of the infants have significant differences in the gender of the intercourse sponsors. The intercourse themes, the intercourse ways and the gender of intercourse sponsors have significant differences in age-group classes. And also, the intercourse themes of the infants have significant differences of intercourse objects. Boys of Hui are aggressive.Macroscopically, the intercourse characteristics of Hui infants' peer is influenced by the regional economy and social developing level, by the sub-culture and the corresponding way of life of the Hui compact community. Microscopically, it influenced by teaching activities and the material surroundings in the kindergarten,2. family environment and its' teaching status quo, inhabiting situation of the community, communicative activities of the community, the physical and mental conditions of the infants.3. In any age-group class, the infants' action attacks are prior to grabbing things, and this point has the disagreement with the study results aboard. The infants in the bottom class show more aggressive than those in that of mid-class and preschool class. And this point gets proof from Hartup's research, as to the cause of this phenomenon, Hartup holds that younger infants have a greater trend toward grabbing things than older ones, which goes contrary to the findings of our research. Influenced by martial spirit culture, aggressive boys often make action attacks against their peer, nevertheless, they are easily accepted by the others. And this result also contradicts with the previous research conclusions that attacks and destroying behaviors lead to the peer refusal.
