A Preliminary Study On The Excavated Porcelain Of Song Dynasty In Sichuan

Along with the development of agriculture,handicraft industry and cities in Song dynasty in Sichuan,the producing of porcelain had been developed greatly and became one of the most important handicraft industries in this area. There are plenty of archaeological data connected with Song Dynasty's porcelain,such as kilns,cellars,sites and tombs,which will do great benefit to study the porcelain production of that period.Based on the typological study on the porcelain data,as well as the background of the economy in Sichuan and the porcelain producing technique all over China in that period,the writer studied the porcelain and the handicraft industry of producing porcelain in Sichuan in Song Dynasty in different aspects,including configuration of the porcelain,the technique and the background of the society economy.
