During the Period of Wei-jin, Family Fu was well-known of its Confucianism especially of the work of Fu Xuan and Fu Xian. This essay discusses all these from two facts, one of which is about the character and culture of the Fu Family, the other of which is about the literary creations and achievements of Fu Xuan and Fu Xian.This essay is made of 5 chapters.Chapter one is a brief textual research of the Fu family tree and its pedigree. First a list of the family tree is made according to the records from the history by any possibility, and then , proofs are given to show that the Fu Family had nothing to do with Ni Yang which lay in Gan Su province and that Fu Xian was not a Gan Su worker. Chapter tow traces the origin of the family character. First, the family character and the culture features are treated. Second, the resource of the family is tracked from four facets including the effect of regional factors, the mood of scholars, the heredity of gene and the circumstance of age. Third, the interaction between the family member and the emperors, colleagues and common people is talked about.Chapter tree focuses on Fu Xuan's work. First, Fu Xuan is thought of as a writer at the transition between Wei and Jin but not at Tai Kang, Zheng Shi or Early Jin. Second, 《Fu Zi》, embodying Fu Xuan's thoughts, doesn't belong to Confucianism but belongs to miscellany. Agreement is reached on neither the divisions of the three parts nor that of the time. Three, Fu Xuan's poems are thought of carrying on the past heritage and opening up to the future by the three faces, following style of Cao Zhi, comparing with Zhang Hua, analyse the common grounds between Fu Xuan and Zuo Si, Du Fu. Four, His works, compared with those of Ji Kangand Ruan Ji, conveys difference, and it marks the multi-dimension development of the literature of Wei Jin. Chapter four concentrats on Fu Xuan's work. A comparison is made between Fu Xian's works and Pan Ni's and an investigation is given on the influence of the heredity of the family tradition . Chapter five sums up all this essay and emphasizes the important of the research of Family Fu and the work of Fu Xuan and Fu Xian.
