In the 21st Century, which is called the Information Times, our history has been turned over another page with the introduction to a definitely new way for humans' intercourse. Having experienced the process of communicating via Characters→Ilmage→?3D, we finally come to the age of VR (Virtual Reality), which is a computer-generated simulation of a real or imagined 3-dimensional environment. The user is allowed to get involved in the environment. Also, he can manipulate, operate and control the virtual worlds. Moreover, this new state of "being real" has just allowed the user to interact with the simulation. We can expect that, with the rapid development of technologies, VR will be more widely used in the Internet. Therefore, the goal of this paper is the study of NETWORK VR.Being dependent upon the Internet, NETWORK VR is factually a kind of desktop 3-dimensional simulation. It's a kind of technique that can synthetize dimensional graphics and guarantee the real-time interactions between human and the graphics based on the Internet environment. This makes the VR system be able to create a simulated and imagined environment that is highly similar to the real worlds. For the first time, this paper tries to start a systematic and in-depth research and demonstration of this newly created design tool. It covers the inception, development, application and VR-related principles and techniques used in design, which will help the designers to make use of the various design techniques in the near future.
