It is a new academic task which is full of hardships and dangers as well as challenges to research Luxun's novel on the base of Mikhail Bakhtin's polyphonic theory. This thesis analyzes the factors that decides the polyphonic character of Luxun's novel on the base of the systematic defining and collecting on polyphonic theory. Meanwhile, it also analyzes the micro-dialogue in Luxun's novel, the macro-dialogue in The True Story Of Ah Q and the Grotesque realism style in The New Version Of Stories. The purpose of doing this is to prove that Luxun's polyphonic novel is not only the unique beginning in the history of modern novel in China, but also the artistic witness of the radical upheaval and the vigorous life of the national ideology and culture in the 20th century in China. It is Luxun who, as the greatest representative figure of the modern intellectuals of China, revealed his own artistic crystallization of his spirit and soul that is abundant and painful. Even in the literature of 20th century, the great ideological achievement and the artist charm of his theory can compare favorably with the greatest artistic creation of modern human being. And can have a dialogue equally with Chinese literature and even the literature of the world.
