As one of the contemporary novelists with the spirit of exploration,Li Peifu presented the polyphonic features in his novel, that is two or more incompatible themes were stated within his works. In this thesis,three novels of the author are enumerated. In Song Ni Yi Duo Ku Lian Hua, he narrated a dialogue happened in a dilemma situation which is between the patience in the process of pursuit and the unyielding progress regardless of any risks; secondly, in The Bondless Morning, the contradiction between reasonable feelings and laws were described;thirdly, in Cheng De Deng, he secretly quoted the widely-known traditional folk story of Qin Xianglian as a intertexts to express two different but reasonable choices in front of the treachery which was made by a female. These polyphonic features reflected in the art of narration can be seen as the viewpoint of the novel shifted in different standpoints.A novel has different themes and the tone of emphasis during narration can be polemic. That is democracy consciousness reflection of the authoras a modern human and it is also the practice of novel consciousness of the author which shows that novel is no longer a concrete and specified reality but a reflection of relativity and ambiguity.
