Kawabata Yasunari is an outstanding guidon of intermediate novel of Japan in the postwar period. His intermediate novels are excellent and characteristic works , such as Dancer , The Story in the Town of Riverside , The Sound of the Mountain, Tokyoite , Be Women , Beauty and Sadness, etc .
