Kawabata Yasunari was the first Japanese witer to win the Nobel Prize for Literature and one of the most popular foreign writers in China.The Nobel Prize for Literature in 1968,He was called "with excellent sensibility...And with novel skills,the spirit of the Japanese soul is expressed." The precise and delicate use of color in his novels is an important manifestation of the "excellent sensibility".In his novels,there is a close relationship between color and Natural Aesthetics,Female Aesthetics and so on.The color application in his novels also even has an inseparable relationship with Japanese traditional aesthetic consciousness.To study Kawabata Yasunari’s novel art,color is an important part.This article intends to analyze several representative works of Kawabata from the aesthetic point of view,specifically from the perspective of colorology and color aesthetics,trying to reveal the aesthetic value of color in Kawabata’s works,and trying to get a glimpse of the aesthetic value of color in his literary works.The full text is composed of three parts:introduction,text and conclusion.The text will be divided into three chapters along the train of thought of "The reason analysis of color preference-specific color analysis-Aesthetic value".In the first chapter,we will explore the reasons for the formation of Kawabata’s unique personal style and its influence on the use of color from the aspects of Japanese traditional aesthetic consciousness,Japanese color concept,Kawabata’s growing background and art hobbies.In the second chapter,we will analyze Kawabata’s works from the perspective of colorology and on the basis of data statistics of texts.Chapter three,on the basis of grasping the cultural and literary background of Kawabata’s creation,combines with the analysis of specific colors,and peeps into Kawabata’s novel’s unique aesthetic value of colors,the author’s personal color style and the Japanese traditional aesthetic consciousness contained therein.
