With the overseas students from Ryukyu in Qing Dynasty as its study subject, this article makes a study on the whole process of Ryukyu students, including the selection of students, their study in the Pecking Imperial College, and their contribution to homeland after their return. It mainly focuses on the analysis of the Satsumahan's effect on the dispatch of overseas students, the selection test of official students, and Chinese teachers for Ryukyu oversea students, etc. This article points out that the government of Qing Dynasty has been always adopted a friendly-neighborhood-relationship policy and other preferential policies towards Ryukyu, that China's cultivation for Ryukyu's overseas students is worth of attention in enhancing the social progress of Ryukyu.
