As they are very closely related to each other, it is unrealistic to completely separate them.The "Horse-Light" in Wuhu, Anhui province is an example of the category of changing. Great changes have taken place in the manifestation of "Horse-Light" in recent years: the performance process simplifies continuously; accompaniment instruments decreases in number; the blockade of feudalism has been broken, which can be proved by the scene that women and men perform together on the same stage, while the past women were even forbidden to enter the "hall of the God of Light" . Based on many investigations, this paper gives a comprehensive description of the living area, history development, organizational forms, performance process and musical characteristics of "Horse-Light" in the south of Anhui.The development of folk music is limited by multiple factors, among which the social shift and the changes caused by it are the objective ones and the changes in the farmers' mind and the shift of sociology are the subjective. As China is now in the process of social shift, modernization of the countryside, the changes in the relationships among farmers and the changes in farmers' cultural life become the objective factors that affect the development of folk music. At the same time, the changes of social psychology also affect the development of folk music form the angles of personal psychological need, imitation and public opinions, socialization, the continuation of socialization and the special groups.
