Accepting and learning poets in Tang dynasty became an important part of the course of development of Chinese ancient poems in Song dynasty. Li Shangyin, an outstanding poet in Tang dynasty, was accepted and learned widely in the poem domain in Song dynasty and brought a far-reaching infection to the poems in Song dynasty since his tremendous literary achievement and unique style. This article discusses this issue in two domains respectively: the poem domain and the ci (another type of Chinese ancient poems) domain, for show the poets in Song Dynasty's conscious hankering for the literature speciality and technique.In the poem domain, first, the article discusses the Xikun poetic faction's acceptance and learning to the run deep and connotation style of Li Shangyin and the universality of subject matter in his poems, points out the significance that rectifying the superficiality, Philistinism and parochialism style in the poems in earlier Song dynasty, than analyzes the Xikun poetic faction's effect of exploiting and promoting the poems in Song dynasty, and makes the opposition to the Xikun faction by other litterateurs in North Song dynasty. Second, the article discusses Li Shangyin's inherit and learning Dufu. On the base of it, the article discusses Huang Tingjian and the Jiangxi poetic faction's learning Li Shangyin. They learned technique of making use of literary quotations in the poets largely and oddly, combining the argument and lyricism , and arranging the structure painstakingly. Then the article points out the tremendous effect to the poems in Song dynasty, which brought by Li Shangyin.In the ci domain, after looking back ci's development and ripeness history and analyzing the characteristics of Li Shangyin's poems, the article emphasizes that Li Shangyin's poems imply the plaint in the love and is filled with pathos. It symbolizes naturally and arranges the structure with stream of consciousness. All of these characteristics had tremendous effect to the graceful and restrained style of ci since Late Tang and Wudai period. Last, the article takes Wu Wenying for example to analyze.
