The World Of The Bridge

The Bridge is magnum opus of Feiming's. On the angle of style studying, it is an original work. But in the process of literatural history, the grandness is not only because of the special taste of literature, but also the question of an intelligentsia that how to realize and hold his being. I analyzed the Bridge as a case and discussed the special ideal of Feiming. My purpose is to tease the origin and conversion of the idea of individual.From this point of view, we can find that the obscurity of Feiming's work is caused by the confusion of his thoughts. Feiming's attitude is typical in the group who emphasized the sense of individual exist.The first part analyzed the imago system and the narrative motivity of the Bridge and it aimed to dispose the logic of "reality/idolum". The second part discussed "mirror-imago" as the main mode of the novel. The third part analyzed the hesitancy and delay in Feiming's theory.
