A Research Of Zhuyao's Gufu Bianti

The author tries to summarize all of Zhuyao' s theory of Fu-learning and evaluate properly its status in the researching history of fu-learning and literary criticism against the background of certain age and learning. This thesis divides four parts. The first part narrates Zhuyao' s bumpy official career and introduces his written works and surveys four colophons of Gufu Bianti. The second part discusses Zhuyao' s ontology of Gufu and stresses Zhuyao' standpoint to take Chuci and Hanfu as example of Fu can' t be oversimplified. Zhuyao take feeling as Gufu' s another characteristic. The third part illustrate Zhuyao' s views on develop and change of Gufu. He classified development of Fu five stage: Chuci Stage, Han Dynasty Stage, Three-Countries and Six-Dynasties Stage, Tang Dynasty Stage and Song Dynasty Stage. Base on its style, he divides Fu Gufu Style, Feifu Style, Lufu Style and Wenfu Style, he directions relations between Fu and post-shao, Ci, Wen, Cao, Song etc. The forth part introduces Zhuyao' s argument of art of Gufu. Zhuyao improved Zhuxi' s methods applied in his Annotating Odes and Annotating Chuci, wield fully six expressing method of Odes to Fu and take mixing describing and metaphor and blendingfeeling, words and reason as basic art techniques of Gufu.Zuyao' s theory of Gufu is worth researching.
