The other is Chinese ironic development before Ming dynasty, which has no certain divisions. But there are still some representative terms, such as "implication", which summarize the main ironic characteristic in Chinese literature works from rhetoric style and philosophy. The first part of Chapter Two mainly analyses two important reasons why irony is very important to fictions in Ming and Qing dynasty. One is the fiction's own traits, which are its comic style and paradox between reality and fabrication. The other is philosophic trend at that time, that is three dominated religions mixed together from Ming dynasty . The latter part put the emphasis on concrete narrative techniques, such as "pun" "poem" etc . And the authors' complex attitude to thecharacters and contradict trend .The last one is fictions' comic style and comic techniques.Concluding remark discusses briefly that as to the research of modern works, it is very meaningful to make an analysis of ironic narration in fictions in Ming and Qing dynasty.
