BeiYue temple of QuYang of lleBei province- is the place where the feudal nations sacrificed the BeiYue mountain. The temple is the most early one among the temples of five mountains still remained. The mural in the temple is very special. For a long time, very little researches were done in the academic circle. Both of the time and the contents of the mural are still uncertain. Starts with the related historic materials, this article analysed the characteristics of the temple as a sacrificial architecture, and the age and the contents of the mural, and draws a conclusion that the mural was repainted in Jiajing, Ming dynasty, and verified the subject and the identities of the main characters.
