| Based on many linguistic facts and borrowing research achievements from former scholars, the paper describes it systemically and analyzes the modal particle in modern Chinese. Firstly, it reviews the state of study briefly, then discriminates the relation between modal particle and mood, moreover, the paper finds the vertical and horizontal relation of model particle in modern Chinese and make it a close system through classifying the modal particle, the paper analyze and explain the mood meaning of basic modal particle, and the paper concludes the mood meaning of derivative modal particle through derivation relation and simplifies the interpretation of mood meaning in modern particle. As far as the distribution of modern particle is concerned, the paper describes it totally and induces all kinds of sites of modal particle. Coming in the middle or ending of sentence. The sixth part of the paper analyzes the succession use of modal particle and conclude the role of succession use. In the end, the paper analyzes several functions roughly when modal particle situating in the middle or the ending of the sentence. At the same time, the paper dips initially for present function research of modal particle.
