The transformation of rural regime refers to the changing process from one rural regime form to another . In my thesis ,it particularly refers to the transition from traditional rural regime to modern rural regime.Twenty Century is the period during which China social important changes happened . The changes belong to unprecedented situation , marked by the abolish of the imperial examination system .the overturn of imperial power and the establishment of bourgeois republic, which is pregnant with the factors of the transition of China traditional rural regime. Under this background, Shanxi breaks down the traditional situation , in which imperial power can be handed bottom down to county regime , and realized the historical reform of rural regime by handing country power down to village regime . According to traditional rural regime, Baojia system was in charge of preserving security and Lijia system was in charge of imposing tax with their single social functions . Yan Xishan , when he mastered the power , reformed Shanxi traditional rural regime through putting village regime into use to have a unified component system and rural regime . Village regime was at the beginning a kind of political system and didn't become autonomous until at the beginning of 1930s . Through establishing villager committee , village public organization , village supervising committee and ceasing litigations committee . the social functions of the new rural regime mode undergo changes accordingly . In less than twenty years , the construction of village politics had achieved great accomplishment , on which The Chinese Communist Party and The National Party had different comments.
