Zhuang-dong group who resides in up-part of Zhujiang valley in south of China, including Zhuang, Dong, Bouyei, Maonan, Shui and Mulao group, have the same national origin and the close cultural tradition. They also have an intimate connection with the origin of rice of the world. During the development of agriculture,the people of Zhuang-dong group form their life mode, thoughtcast, aesthetic consciousness and value gradually under the influence of the culture of rice. Oral creation is an important carrier of cultures. The oral creations about rice of Zhuang-dong group consist of four parts: the oral creations of rice origin, the oral creations of fighting back the visitation of providence, the oral creations of rice experience and the oral creations of life-habitude. They are rich in cultures. They reveal the independent and self-awareness of the ancestors of the local people. And the cultures in them also reveal the introvert psychological characteristic of the local people of Zhuang-dong group.
