In the present paper, neologisms, about which the exploration is based on the commonly prevailing expressions, include new coinage, old expressions with freshly developed implification and recently imported terms from abroad.It's designed to explore the features of neologisms and their standardization. The conclusions and some recommended solutions are described as following.â…  . Neologisms are characterized by publicity, multi-source, variety in meaning, different times and semantic mutation.â…¡. The standardization operation is supposed to mainly target at media, foreign words and Internet expressions, and the criterion should be flexible rather than rigid. It is also recommendable to follow the principles based on necessity , efficiency and complementarity.
