The paper applies the quantitative research method to analyze the relationship between the five subjects' affective factors and their scores in the College English Test-Band Four (CET-Band Four). The subjects are juniors of non-English major in Chongqing University. The writer attempts to answer the following questions.1. What are the most influential factors to the subjects?2. Do the high score group and the low score group differ in their individual affective factors?3. How do high score group and low score group differ in the five affective factors?4. Which individual affective factors have predicting power to the learners' achievements in CET-Band Four? These research questions were explored by The Learner Affect Questionnaire and the learners' scores in CET-Band Four. The statistical results indicated that of the five variables related to learners' affect intrinsic motivation played most important role on the subjects, anxiety played least role on the subjects. There were significant difference in the five affective factors between the high-score group and the low-score group. The data also showed that extrinsic motivation and intrinsic motivation had significant predicting power on the subjects' achievement in CET-Band Four, which will lead to new direction for foreign language teaching that intrinsic motivation should be centered on and that foreign language teachers should create more chance to stimulate learner's intrinsic motivation. Since the subjects concerned were limited in one college - Chongqing University, the results yielded from the study were not generalized enough. Therefore, they will only serve as reference to be tested in the future.
