The Application Of The Eclectic Approach To The Teaching Of Oral English

With the status-quo of English language teaching (ELT) in China as its backdrop, this thesis looks at the origins and general principles of the Eclectic Approach and with the view of the problems that have so far surfaced in China's present-day ELT, the thesis explores the feasibility of the application of the Eclectic Approach to the teaching of oral English in Chinese classrooms.
