The vocal music teaching is a subject which composites of thought, art and science. And it is also a dual-activity cooperated by teachers and students. The relation of "teaching" and "learning" is just like what people often said, "teachers guide the way, and it depends on students to learn". "Guiding" means that teachers should develop and cultivate students' enthusiasm, imitativeness, and dependence. Especially in the vocal music teaching, many abstract conceptions and feelings about voice cannot be perceived. So it needs teachers to guide students to think, and then it can inspire activity of the students' mind, helping them understand and master the acute concept about voice and the situation of singing. It is obviously that the thought plays the most important role in studying. In the study of vocal music, thought passes through the whole passage. Such thought, due to the particularity of the vocal music, is the special thought, and it builds on the common thought but also differs from the thought of singing. This paper discusses from the concept of the thought-of-singing, and is divided into four parts. According to these features and the concrete analysis, we make careful research on thefeatures in the vocal music teaching.This paper has four parts except the introduction and the conclusion.The first part is the research of the imaginativeness of the thought-of-singing in vocal music teaching. Imaginativeness is one of the basic features in the thought-of-singing. This part is based on the concept of imaginativeness defined by the psychology. According to the definition of the imaginativeness, it describes the features in the singing activity, such as superficial imagination, the co-existence of feeling and situation, and the function of teachers in vocal music teaching, such as the training of vocal skill, the understanding of the content of songs, the appearance of the works, the nerve of students, and the cultivation of students' imaginativeness, and finally makes amanifest with concrete examples.The second part is the emotional research in vocal music teaching. Emotionality is the inner motive of the thought-of-singing. This part is based on the emotional concept in psychology. According to the definition of emotionality in the singing thought, it would furthermore discuss the apparent features such as the "emotion-arousing" in singing activities, teachers' guiding of the emotional use of thought-of-singing for students on the aspects of vocal skill, singing, psychology in vocal music teaching, and makes thorough explanation with the concrete examples.The third part is the research of the creativeness of the thought-of-singing in vocal music teaching. Creativeness is the natural features in the thought-of-singing. This part, based on the explanation of the creativeness by psychology, according to the definition of the creativeness in the thought-of-singing, analyzes the two apparent features in the singing activities: the newness of the vocal music and the artist image. Besides, it also discusses how teachers should cultivate students for the use of the creativeness of the thought-of-singing.The fourth part is the research of the aestheticality of the thought-of-singing in vocal music teaching. Aestheticality is the feature of the assemble nature. This part, based on the aesthetics concept in psychology, makes a definition on the aesthetics in the thought-of-singing, and analyses through examples its apparent features in singing activities: the intuition and the personality of the aesthetics. Besides, it also discusses how teachers should cultivate the aesthetical use in the thought-of-singing on the aspects of singing skill and the expression of the works in vocal music teaching.
