English Abstract For Scientific Research Paper And Its_Writing

Human beings step into an information age with the 21st century coming. With the development of Information Technology (IT), international communication in culture and science increasingly takes place. Most countries in the world enter an age, in which they share knowledge and information together. The achievement in scientific research must be internationally communicated in academic circles. So scientific research paper should be written in double language, especially in English. English abstract for scientific research papers is certainly compulsory.Recently, English abstract including title and keywords is essential to various scientific research papers whether they are published in national province journals or in international academic journals. Therefore, English abstract writing is of great immediate significance to scientific researchers in different fields. Based on the examination of some abstracts extracted from some important international scientific periodicals, the thesis prominently centers on the analysis of linguistic features of abstract including title and keywords in vocabulary, grammar and discourse. The writing requirements for abstract are generalized in the analysis as guidelines in writing, 5 steps, 5A strategy and ABC principles. The writing requirements provide the scientific researchers with some theoretical guidance on what they should do in writing of English abstracts for their research papers.
