The Study On College And Middle School Students' Pathological Internet Use And Its Influencing Factors

This article mainly includes three parts-literature reviews, demonstrative studies and conclusion. The part of literature reviews is constructed by study status quo of Pathological Internet Use, definition and diagnoses, category, measure, reasons, prevention and intervention. This part also introduces the shortcoming of current studies and the topics this article wants to study.The part of demonstrative studies includes two studies. The first study wants to study the college and middle school students' Internet behaviors and the relations between PIU and personal details and Internet behaviors. The second study wants to study PIU' influencing factors and construct the path analysis model. The results show that: (1) the college and middle school students' Internet behaviors distributions are all significant different. (2) the compare between different personal details and Internet behaviors' PIU scores shows that all the differences are significant except for the items of whether are singletons, whether are amative, period of Internet use, common Internet use daytime. (3) theoretic model has been proved to be correct. The arranges of influencing factors from more important to less are: inflexible cognition, depression, life affairs, Internet self efficacy, Internet use atmosphere, social anxiety, factor N of EPQ, passive cope model, factor E of EPQ and factor P of EPQ.The part of conclusion is constructed by results, characteristic and future topics.
