Seeing About The Three Miscellanea About Tang Xuanzong

The deeds of Tang Xuanzong named Li Longji talked over and over by the people. We can read a lot of accounts about Tang Xuanzong in the works preserved in today. Many of them are stories not facts, but some are paid attention to by the reachers who study the history of Tang dynasty. I choose three works which are The Hearsay of Liu Shi, The Records of Tang Xuanzong and The legend ofkai-yuan Period to study their worth.My thesis includes three parts. The structure of every part is a little different.The fist part is about The Hearsay of Liu Shi. Firstly I introduce its title, author and edition. Secondly I analyse its origination. At last, comparing with The Old Tang Book, The New Tang Book and Zi Zhi Tong Jian, I draw a conclusion that The Hearsay of Liu Shi provided the origination to the two Tang Books and the Tong Jian.The second part is about The Records of Tang Xuanzong. Firstly I introduce its author and edition. Secondly I analyse its value and the relations with other historic works about Tang dynasty. According to study, I draw a conclusion that The Records of Tang Xuanzong has highly worth especcially to study the historic of Tang dynasty.The third part is about The Legend of Kai-yuan Period. Firstly I conclude the period of the author named Zheng Qi, then I study its origination. At last, I analyse its worth. The worth of The Legend of Kai-yuan Period is lower than The Hearsay of Liu Shi andThe Records of Tang Xuanzong. So, we must pay much attention when we cite it.
