Pucheng county lies in the east part of Guanzhong, north-east part of Weihe Plain of Shaanxi provinc, between the loess Plateau of the north of Shaanxi and Weihe Plain of Guanzhong. It borders on Dali county, Chengcheng county to the east, Fuping county to the west, Weinan city to the south, Baishui county to the north, Tongchuan city to the north-west. According to the standard of meaning and usage category, the glossary of Pucheng dialect can be divided into 30 kinds. They are chronometer, geography, season and time, agriculture, plant, animal, architecture, appliance, appellation, relatives, body, illness and medicine, clothing and ornament, food, marriage and funeral, every day life, lawsuit, social intercourse, commerce and traffic, culture and education, amusement, action, position, pronoun, adjective, adverb and preposition, measure word, number, additional composition, traditional Chinese way to remember the year (Ganzhi).The grammatical system of Pucheng dialect: the grammatical system of Pucheng dialect is basically similar to Mandarin Chinese, but it still has its special characters.
