The Phonetic And Lexical System Study Of Zichang Dialect

Zichang County is located in the Loess Plateau area of northern part of Shaanxi,under the jurisdiction of Yan'an City.Zichang dialect belongs to Wutai group of Jin dialects by "Chinese Language Atlas".This article records the dialect of the town Wayaobu in Zichang.Based on the corpus obtained from the field investigation,this article mainly focuses on studying the phonetic and lexical systems of Zichang dialect,and analyzes the dialect features on the basis of the recorded description.In phonetics aspect,it summarizes the phonetic system from the phonological features of Zichang dialect,which compares with Beijing phonological system and medieval Chinese pronunciation,and then summarizes the homophones of Zichang dialect.At the same time,The paper makes a preliminary discussion on the phonetic phenomena such as affrication,vowel raising,lax tone intension.etc.In lexics aspect,the paper compares and contrasts with Mandarin from the syllable form,morpheme composition,affixes,overlapping and other aspects of Zichang dialect in order to summarize the lexical characteristics.And then it describes these ancient and local featured words about appellation,wedding and funeral,geography in Zichang dialect.The classification of the lexical entries is based on the "dialect survey vocabulary",which highlights the local features,with some entries expanded necessarily.The long corpus part includes "the sentences of Chinese dialect grammar" and the folklore,legend,nursery rhymes,folk songs and local idioms(such as break language,tongue twisters,proverbs,riddles etc.),which mainly records and summaries in the way of tagging IPA.The appendix researches the real situation of daily life language in rural families through questionnaire and interview by a field trip,which mainly focuses on some aspects including the language use between the informants and family members,the informants' social language,the informants' impression and attitude on the dialect and Mandarin,their language preference and so on.
