Training people is the basic function of education. And the development of human being accelerates the advancement of society. Therefore, the essential condition of continuing civilization is education. The development of physical science makes the civilization of mankind going into a new epoch. It has deeply related with all aspects of human being's practice. It is not only the model of all natural science, but also is the important source of all scientific viewpoint of universe and is the scientific base of all modern science. Obviously, the physical education becomes the essential condition of continuing modern civilization. I try my best to make a through inquiry into the cognitive psychology, the physical theories and the physical education in middle-school.This thesis is made up of sixes chapters. In the first chapter, we enter from an analysis of the problems existed in our physical education nowadays, and clearly explain that it is necessary for us to guide the physical education in middle-school by the cognitive psychology and the physical theories. In the second chapter, we elucidate the foundation of cognitive psychology from the perspective of the development of children's intelligence and the double structure of perception-cognition. In the third chapter, we expound the foundation of physical science. We make a specific discussion on its essential elements, basic features paradigms and its evolutionary mechanism and the methodological criteria of physical theories. In the forth chapter, based on full and accurate historical materials, we systematically and fully explain the apparent, underlying, and potential relationship between physical science and the material, spiritual, and political civilization of mankind. In the fifth chapter, from the perspective of the inheriting and developing the civilization ofmankind, we look at the cause of education and expound the essential meaning of the objective and aim of physical education. In the sixth chapter, starting from emphasizing the co-structure of the cognitive psychological features between scientists and students, we make a comprehensive discussion to the characteristic of physical education in our junior and senior middle school, and put forward the corresponding pedagogical principles.The shortcoming of this project and our prospects of this research for future are given at the end of the thesis.
