Chinese Classical poetry has undergone its developmentfor more than two thousand years and become historicallycultural treasure of the nation. Due to some reasons, thetreasure has been buried. Over the past decades, eitherthe political discourse or the chasing after western stylehas reigned the literature field. People tend to ignorethe close relationship between new poetry and tradition.On the solid foundation of literary creation, the poetZhengmin Carefully examines the yesterday and the today ofChinese poetry with deep affection for Chinese traditionalculture, fully understands the literary and artisticimportance of Chinese characters and classical poetry. Asan outstanding modern poet, deeply influenced by westernculture, Zhengmin still keeps her constant care forChinese traditional culture and poetics. Her creation andresearch work prove the dominant and potential influenceof traditional culture on people.The thesis consists of three parts: Zhengmin's attitudes towards poetry and traditional culture, poetic image and context with traditional characteristics, the artistic features of the poet's, creation. The paper involves the analysis of Chinese traditional culture and poetics, the relation between Structure-Post-structure and tradition, the reflection of Chinese traditional culture, the poet's attitudes to life, history and universe, lyrics, philosophy, the structure of poems, the poetic language.The thesis attempts to seek the blood relation between Zhengmin and Chinese traditional culture with the aid of literary phenomena in the nation or abroad, tries to find the similarities between them objectively.
