Discussing The Spirit Of Life In Chinese Classical Poetry

The high particularity of the traditional Chinese art is strongly blended with the traditional Chinese philosophical spirit. The Chinese combine the art and the philosophy; therefore, the art plays a complementary role in the high development of the Chinese philosophy. The philosophical spirit is embodied in the spirit of art; meanwhile, the art is the extension of the philosophical spirit and is also the highest level of philosophy. The Chinese philosophy worships the life and pursues the spirit of life, which results in an expression of the philosophy of life in the art as well as produces the aesthetic and expressional particularity of the Chinese poetry.This paper begins with the exploration of the traditional Chinese philosophical view of life by analyzing the cultural origins of the spirit of life in the Chinese poetry and the internal mechanism of the birth of this aesthetic spirit of life. The exploration of the internal logic of the influence of the Chinese culture and philosophy on the aesthetic spirit is based on four essential points: the structure of life, the time of life, and the foundation of life.Later, this paper describes the influence of the Chinese spirit of life on the Chinese poetry. It is to gain the embodiment of the spirit of life according to discussing the creation of poetry including from the Poetry creation intention , from the creation dynamics, from the poetry content, from the poetry form, from the artistic style theory . The Chinese observe the world with a poetic vision and express the spirit of life through the art of poetry which indicates a high respect to life and their consistent pursuit of the spirit of life.
